1st January MADLENIANUM becomes a member of the organization
OPERA EUROPA, the professional association of the opera
houses and festivals in Europe.
23rd January MADLENIANUM marks its sixth birthday, but for the
undergoing reconstruction, the celebration takes place at
ATELJE 212, with the ballet TRIPTYCH.
18th April Consecration of the building of MADLENIANUM.
19th April Opening of the new building under the new name
MADLENIANUM OPERA AND THEATRE. The opening was
marked with a Gala concert of the soloists of Bolshoi Theatre
from Moscow.
26th April Renewal of the opera COSI FAN TUTTE. The first
performance on the new large stage.
28th April Opening of the exhibition of paintings of Zepter Gallery
under the name ‘’Toward the Museum’’. The exhibition is
displayed from 28th April to 28th May.
7th May Classical guitar concert on the Large Stage, with the
famous Spanish guitar player, José María Gallardo del Rey.
16th May Ballet workshop Serge Ricci with 10 participants starts to
work. The presentation of the workshop operation was done on
28th May, the last day of the workshop.
20th May MADLENIANUM heard Pavarotti singing, but only on his dress
rehearsal prior to the concert.
22nd May The National Theatre from Belgrade has its guest appearance on MADLENIANUM Large Stage with the opera LA TRAVIATA by G. Verdi.
28th May PREMIÈRE of the first drama performance in the production
of MADLENIANUM. Miloš Crnjanski and TESLA in the
directing of Nikita Milivojevi?. Scenographer was Geroslav
Zari?, costume designer Lana Cvijanovi?, and choreographer
An?elija Todorovi?. Till the end of the season 2004/2005
TESLA will have five performances.
29th May MADLENIANUM Society of Friends of Chamber Music
organizes TANGO EVENING.
30th and 31st May Guest appearance of the Croatian National Theatre »Ivan pl.
Zajc«, Rijeka with Staša Zurovac’s ballet MARQUEZOMANIA.
Guest appearance was within the celebration of the jubilee of the
magazine Orchestra.
3rd June Guest appearance of the National Theatre from Belgrade
with the opera CAVALLERIA RUSTICANA by P. Mascagni.
3rd June Exhibition of Madl''Art Auction House on Bel Etage. The
exhibition was opened till 12th June.
5th June Guest appearance of the National Theatre from Belgrade
with the ballet DR. JACKYLL AND MR. HYDE to the music of
E. Elgar, in choreography of Vladimir Logunov.
6th June Guest appearance of the National Theatre from Belgrade
with the drama KOŠTANA, by B. Stankovi?, in the directing of
Rahim Burhan.
11th June Guest appearance of the Serbian National Theatre from
Novi Sad with the ballet ZORBA, THE GREEK. Choreography
and directing by Krunislav Simi?.
15th June PREMIÈRE of monodrama ICY FIREFLY. Director was Tanja Mandi?-Rigonat, adaptation was made by Jovan ?irilov, scenographer was Aleksandar Deni? and costume designer Milena J. N. K. The role was played by Goran Jevti?.
23rd June Guest appearance of the Theatre on Terazije with the
musical THE GYPSY CAMP GOES AWAY TO HEAVEN.
25th June Comic opera by W. A. Mozart, COSI FAN TUTTE, has guest
appearance in Novi Sad, at the Serbian National Theatre.
29th June Comic opera by W. A. Mozart, COSI FAN TUTTE, has guest appearance in Belgrade, at the National Theatre.
6th July ICY FIREFLY was played on the Small Stage of
MADLENIANUM, within the first day of 30th Festival of
monodrama and pantomime in Zemun. It was the seventh
and the last performance of the ICY FIREFLY in the
season 2004/2005.
30th September Opening of the season - concert of the famous Russian
pianist, Nikolai Petrov, on the new Steinway piano.
7th October Première of SF opera ‘’The Tales of Hoffmann’’ by Jacques
Offenbach in directing of Dejan Miladinovi?, scenographer -
Miljen Kljakovi? Kreka, costume designer -
Milanka Berberovi?, conductor - Gorjan Korunoski.
28th December Premiére of Mikhail Bulgakov’s drama ''''Don Quixote'''', by the motifs of Miguel de Cervantes’ novel. The first directing creation of Dragan Jovanovi?. Scenographer - Jasna Dragovi?, costume designer - Ljiljana Petrovi?.
