1st January MADLENIANUM becomes a member of the association RESEO, the only European association of opera theatres, supported by
the European Community and the Federation of associations and foundations of opera theatres (FEDORA).
26th January MADLENIANUM celebrates its third birthday.
30th January Opening of a new stage, Small Stage, and the rehearsal hall,
called »Duška Sifnios«.
28th March Guest performance of the ballet ORPHEUS IN THE
UNDERWORLD in Niš.
11th April Guest performance of the ballet THE GOLDEN BIRD - NIJINSKY in Novi Sad within NOMUS.
14th April Opera recital by Katarina Jovanovi?.
26th April PREMIÈRE of the opera COSI FAN TUTTE by Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart. Guest director was Miklos Szinetar from
Hungary, and conductor Ruben Silva from Poland. Choreographer was Krunislav Simi?, scenographer was Vladislav T. Lalicki and Maja Studen designed costumes.
20th – 26th May The International Harp Festival is held on MADLENIANUM
stages, with the participation of local harpists, but also with the artists from the Czech Republic, Sweden, France, Macedonia and Bulgaria.
8th June Guest performance of the ballet ORPHEUS IN THE
UNDERWORLD in Kragujevac.
1st – 3rd July Guest performance of the ballet ORPHEUS IN THE
UNDERWORLD and the ballet NIJINSKY - THE GOLDEN BIRD at the International Musical Festival in Varna, Bulgaria.
7th – 10th July 27th Festival of monodrama and pantomime at MADLENIANUM.
13th July Guest performance of the ballet ORPHEUS IN THE
UNDERWORLD in Aran?elovac. Opening of the Festival
Marble and Sounds.
15th September Guest performing in Negotin. The ballet ORPHEUS IN THE
UNDERWORLD at the Festival MOKRANJAC DAYS.
4th – 15th Novem. The master class of the ballet of Neta Pulvermacher and R.
Bennett, USA.
6th December PREMIÈRE of the ballet LIEDERABEND, in choreography of Duška Sifnios and Vladimir Logunov to the music of Gustav Mahler. Scenographer and costume designer was Jelena An?elkovi?.
11th December Guest appearance at the XI Festival of Zoran Radmilovi? in
Zaje?ar with the ballet ORPHEUS IN THE UNDERWORLD.
