Madlenianum Opera and Theatre participated in marking European Opera Days on May 8-9, 2010 with the project
Opera – Universal Bridge between Cultures
Madlenianum thus joined the Opera Europa members in honouring, together with its guests and participants, the unity of diversity of cultures of a large number of nationalities living in Serbia, and presented as part of this celebration the comic opera Mandragola by composer Ivan Jevti?. The opera was developed by an international team of authors, showing in this fashion as well the accord and harmony of diversity of artistic creativity promoted by Madlenianum Opera and Theatre from its very beginning.
This diversity of creative expression offered all of us a unique opportunity to mark EUROPEAN OPERA DAYS with extraordinary events, and truly present OPERA as UNIVERSAL BRIDGE BETWEEN CULTURES.
During this weekend Madlenianum offered hospitality to over a thousand participants.
